NMF ENGAGES EDEN UNIVERSITY FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS

On Friday, Nyapachuma Memorial Foundation (NMF) engaged first-year students at Eden University, Barlastone Campus, reaching over 450 students during their orientation programme.

The session commenced with a powerful role play by the theatre group, portraying real-life scenarios that sparked emotion and deep reflection among the students.

NMF subsequently delivered an in-depth analysis of sextortion, encouraging students to recognise its realities within learning institutions and to understand the importance of awareness, prevention, and reporting.

The discussion highlighted what students need to know, how sextortion occurs, how to identify red flags, how to protect themselves, and where to report cases when they arise.

The Dean of Students encouraged students to make informed choices, urging them to approach their academic journey with responsibility. He further reassured students that his office remains open and available to offer support and guidance whenever needed.
